Check out inventory service

Prior to attending the check out we will call the tenants to remind them of their obligations as explained to them by us at the start of their tenancy.

We will:

  • undertake the check-out video inventory with the tenant present
  • highlight any discrepancies between the original check in inventory and the current state of the property and its contents
  • acquire where possible the signed agreement from the tenant as to any cleaning repair or replacement that is required
  • supply you with a copy of all documentation and the checkout video inventory     
  • collect and supply you with the tenants forwarding address
  • remind the tenant to redirect his post and provide him with a form if he has not done so. 

Because of the high standard of the video inventories we produce it is unlikely that there will ever be genuine cause for dispute.  If however a tenant does wish to refer the matter to the TDS, a representative of The Video Inventory Agency can supply written witness statements or appear in person for an agreed fee.
